History Of Baltimore Club Music

I actually have first hand experience when it comes to Baltimore Club Music and it started in the 80's!!!! People are online posting that it started in the 90's and they are going from research and not experience. Being as though I started going to the clubs since I was 15 and now I am 36, I can truly say it was the 80's. I remember FrankSki(original DJ from V103 then moved to 92Q and eventually left there) coming out with Doo Doo Brown and that was the jam. Then Miss Tony had everything and Scottie B was mixing everything. Then there was Reggie Reg on 92Q, Dj MIke Crosby(still rocking the 12oclock old school mix) and of course the infamous R.I.P Kswift and DJ Diamond K. Now as far as the latest out there, I am not an expert with since I haven't gone out since my 20's but I do catch the 12 noon mix on 92Q and the 9oclock pm mix on Thursday night. My 15 year old son loves alot of the 90's club music the best.

The original clubs were
Odell's(if you know anything about Baltimore Club, you knew Odell's on North Avenue) We used to drive up and down North Avenue circling the block for hours.

Then there was Club Fantasy's and the lines were rapped around the corners and went to Denny's afterwards. And who can forget club Paradox under the bridge. If you are really from Baltimore then you know what I am talking about.

Club Gaspees and another club on Charles Street that wasn't too far from Choices but I fogot the name of it. And of course Club Choices has been around for a while, not sure if it's still popular but it was back then.

Also there was Club Volcanos and some others I forgot. LOL
